Our mission
Make it national
1 in 7
people in the UK are thought to be neurodivergent.
Isolation
Many neurodivergent people find it hard to build friendships and feel connected.
Recognition
A national day drives awareness in schools, workplaces and communities.
All year round
23 March 2027 is the focus — not the limit
The national date gives us one big moment to be heard together. But standing up for neurodivergent people doesn't stop when the day ends — we advocate every week of the year, and we'd love you to join us whenever it suits your people.
Set your own date for your establishment. Schools, colleges, universities and workplaces can hold their mingle events, badge days and awareness sessions on whichever day works for them — an induction week, an assembly slot, a staff wellbeing afternoon, or any other moment when people will actually turn up.
Mark it on 23 March 2027, or mark it whenever you can — both count, and both strengthen our case for national recognition.
How you can help
- 1Sign up as a supporter so we can show government the scale of support.
- 2Write to your local MP asking them to back an official national day.
- 3Share the campaign with #NeurodiversityAwarenessDay.
- 4Ask your school, workplace or council to mark the day — on 23 March, or on a date you choose yourself.
